Goals and Characteristics
We encourage students from all over the world to spend time with us in sports medicine and shoulder surgery and experience Sydney. The elective student is an integral member of the Sports Medicine and Shoulder Service in all aspects of clinical and surgical activities. The program will provide excellent exposure to shoulder cases in the clinic and in the operating room with a special emphasis on arthroscopic procedures. Our research personnel have state-of-the-art training and facilities. The student has two days per week protected time for clinical and clinically-applied basic research. There is no on-call.
Sydney is a cosmopolitan city of four million people, with superb beaches and recreational opportunities.
