Anne Kent, RN
Anne Kent is the Nursing Unit Manager within the Orthopaedic Surgery Ward at St George Hospital. She has been at St George Hospital for over twenty years, since emigrating from England. Anne was an RN until she took up the position of NUM, andplayed an instrumental role in setting up the facilities. As the NUM, she oversees all financial, personnel and patient care aspects within the ward.
Anne Kent was trained in orthopaedics at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, Middlesex, United Kingdom Hospital. Orthopaedic nurse education on a formal basis commenced in 1988 and is now open to Sydney-wide applicants. Anne holds a Bachelor of Health Science.
